about my work
____________
"By following your bliss, you are putting yourself on a kind of track that has been there all along, waiting for you, and the life you are meant to live is the life you are living. Wherever you are – if you are following your bliss, you are enjoying that fresh, intense life within you all the time." Joseph Campbell
From grains of sand to pixels
My style ranges from minimalism to figurative art and abstraction, resulting in multifaceted works that seek to be both simple and evocative. My creative process is driven by emotion and intuition. Elements of nature and music are my greatest sources of inspiration.
I never shy away from experimenting with new forms of expression. I use a wide range of techniques and materials, from pencils to pixels.
Mosaics, music and architecture are recurring themes in my creations and, in a way, reflect my passions and influences, bringing emotional depth to my creations.
I believe in art as a "means of transport", of transformation and human connection.
My projects often explore socially relevant themes, aiming to transform my everyday observations into images that can touch the eye.
In my professional career, I have created covers and illustrations for publishers such as Santillana, Meio & Mensagem, Richmond, Positivo, Abril, Globo, Ediouro, Moderna, Saraiva, SM and Folha de São Paulo.
As an assistant art director, I worked for the studio "Filme de Papel", responsible for award-winning animations, such as the film "O Menino e o Mundo", nominated for an Oscar in 2016.
I have participated in group exhibitions in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Sarajevo, Lisbon, Porto and Shanghai.
Some of my works are already present in public and private collections.
